The UK Youth Parliament is a National Organisation.
Young people aged 11 - 18 are elected to sit on it.
These "Members of the Youth Parliament" (MYPs) tell the National Government, in Westminster, about the issues that young people are concerned about.
Each year new members are elected to represent 11-18 year olds in 3 constituencies in the Wakefield District:-

  • Wakefield Central
  • 5 Towns
  • Hemsworth and SESKU
